I am a graduate student of cultural anthropology working in Turkey. My research interests are in bio-politics, applied medical anthropology, anthropology of globalization, anthropology of embodiment, subjectivity, social suffering, public policy and neoliberalism, the modernization of psychiatry, history and memory.
