About
Climate Change Adaptation and Land Use Planning.
I'm a former newspaper and corporate contract writer currently pursuing two master's degrees - one in Regional Planning, the other in Environmental Law and Policy. My career goal is to contribute new-but-practical environmental and climate change policies at the municipal, state and/or federal levels. I consult with municipalities to develop climate change assessment and adaptation plans.
My central interest are the theory-to-practice aspects of Adapting to Climate Change for urban environments. I'm especially motivated by the complex intersections of land-use and environmental law and policy.
Research interests: Climate Change Adaptation Planning; Emergency Management; Water Infrastructure Systems; Public Management; Philosophy of Power; Risk Assessment; Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipes; International Collaboration; Modern Curation Theory; Temporalities of Visual Art; Public Art; Modern Architecture; Green Urbanism; Roosters; and Manhole Covers.
